Our hospital in Uttar Pradesh is targeted for inauguration in March, 2013.  One of the states that definitely needs the kind of service provided by Sankara Eye Hospitals, our goal is to make sure we raise the funds in time to start the construction next year. Our current estimate for the hospital budget is around $4.2 Million. We have raised about $200K, so we have $4.0 million more to go.

The paramedic staff training will start in 2011, to get them ready to join the hospital in 2013. The training is 18 months long.

SEF is actively looking for land in Kanpur, and we should be able to close it very soon. UPMA (Uttar Pradesh Mandal, North America) is an active partner, helping us with all aspects of the project, including acquiring land.

Please join us in the movement to build the hospital in UP. To start construction, we need to raise about $3 Million dollars.
