At Sankara Eye Foundation, we feel the energy and excitement of reconnecting in person!
Here are some highlights of our recent post-pandemic events:
Sankara Eye Foundation’s Inaugural Be The Light Gala in New York on September 24, 2022, was an elegant evening attended by over 325 donors, sponsors and volunteers. We raised over $1.3M towards our $2M goals to help eliminate curable blindness in India.
Our Annual Bay Area Banquet was held at the India Community Center, Milpitas, on Sunday, November 13, 2022. It was an exciting event attended by 300+ donors, volunteers, and Board members.

- Dr. Kaushik Murali, President, Medical Administration
- Mr. Bharath Balasubramaniam, President, Community Outreach, of Sankara Eye Foundation, India
We raised over $600,000 towards our $2M goals to help eliminate curable blindness in India.
