RJ Sankara Eye Hospital, Panvel, is the 12th eye hospital of Sankara Eye Foundation, India. The Jhunjhunwala Foundation donated the building on which the present hospital, with its 225 bed facility, is built. This hospital is designed to deliver the best in class eye treatment for issues related to cornea, retina, glaucoma, and diabetic retinopathy to both the rural and urban population in and around Panvel, Maharashtra. Till date, the hospital has conducted 656 eye camps, screened 64,654 patients and performed 17,393 surgeries.
