RJ Sankara Eye Hospital, Varanasi

The R. Jhunjhunwala Sankara Eye Hospital is a state-of-the-art eye hospital coming up in the city of Varanasi. The Rakesh Jhunjhunwala Foundation has generously contributed 50% of the land and construction costs as well as the operational costs till self-sufficiency is reached. At full capacity, this 225-bed super-specialty eye hospital will perform 30,000 free eye surgeries annually. The hospital will be inaugurated on October 20, 2024.
