The association with Sankara Eye Foundation, USA has helped H.V. Desai Eye Hospitals expand and improve their infrastructure. The Pune hospital now has 400 beds with 56,000 free surgery capacity up from the original 95 beds and 18,000 free eye surgery capacity hospital.

An upcoming hospital in Solapur, Maharashtra will add 115 beds and and a capacity of 20,000 free surgeries annually.

Pervez has a vision of his own – from the current 56,000 free eye surgeries, he aims to more than double the number bringing it to 1,15,000 free eye surgeries by 2030. “It's the least we can do,” he says. “Vision 2030 has given us renewed vigor, and we will go to any lengths to fulfill it.”
